PRESS RELEASE – Chinnor & Thame Friends of the Earth Summer Green Fayre – Saturday 11th June 10am-3pm at Chinnor Village Hall

GREEN FAYRE / BIKE SALE

Chinnor Village Hall, Saturday 11th June, 10am-3pm. Attractions include a second hand bike sale, a plant stall, an organic cakes stall, colourful crafts, jewellery, gifts, books, bric-a-brac, music and lots more.

Come and have go at a ‘natural’ floral arrangement or card making. There’s lots of fun to be had at the Coconut shy and football games.

For younger children, there will be ride-on toys, a mini train ride, paint, playdough and other activities, including making a card for Father’s Day (18th June).

Raffle, tombolas and lucky dip will all add to the enjoyment of the day.

Ploughman’s lunches (£2) as well as teas and cakes will be available throughout the day, and live music will be provided by the popular local group, Bodger’s Wood.

At the Green Fayre, you will have an opportunity to find out more about the most serious threat facing us all – GLOBAL WARMING – and how we can all help to reduce its impact.

So for a fun and informative time, come to this year’s Green Fayre!

For bike enquiries call Cathy on 01844 261430 and all other enquiries ring Maureen 01844 352816 (evenings) or 01844 353630 (day).    Entrance is free.
